Facing the giants

Facing the Giants is an American Christian movie that inspired viewers. Alex Kendrick, the main cast who also wrote and directed the movie truly presented a rare Christian faith. Making the movie was unbelievable. Despite of its low budget, volunteers put together a good movie funded by Christians. It was made on a $100,000 budget by a Baptist church in Georgia. There were good lessons in this film that everyone should acknowledge such as the importance of leadership and respect, determination to not quit, honoring God in everything that people do and the power of prayer. I thought the film was very appealing and powerful, not only it brought a positive thing about Christian faith but also it tells the story about how underdogs came to victory. I liked how the movie created a huge impact towards the players lives in a positive way that kept heir faith growing. Also that having a spiritual belief for the hardships that they faced empowered their responsibilities. For example, when "Grant Taylor" the coach had a huge spiritual talk with the football players, they soon realized that they should give 100% on everything they do and leave the rest to the Lord. Viewers thought of this movie as an encouragement to others to not be on neutral ground but instead to keep their faith hot and alive on Jesus. The film just hit a point and made an example for what people should do. People should have faith and believed that by having faith in God solved all the problems. There was this one scene in the film where the coach, "Grant Taylor" pushes one of his players who was blindfolded to not quit on doing a death crawl and ended up crossing the other end of the field. The player signified us who are blindfolded and being pushed by God to not quit on him and instead to keep believing on him even though we were suffering from all our burdens.
