Assignment #1

1.Wall-e is a very interesting movie to watch. It was my first time watching the movie and it really caught my attention. Well first, I thought it would be boring because it was about a robot and I don't really like cartoon movies, but in the middle of the movie it taught a valuable lesson. Pixar animated studies produced this movie and directed by Andrew Stanton. Stanton also wrote the original story together with Pete Docter, also Stanton was one of the screenplay writers along with Jim Reardon.

2.The movie Wall-e did capture my attention. Humor was one of the techniques they used. It kept me entertained throughout the whole movie. I like how they used humor because who would not like to laugh while watching a movie, also humor just made the movie really fun and not boring. I like how they used the computer graphics into a whole new level, it showed how they really put a great effort to make the movie realistic for everyone.

3.When I heard about the movie wall-e I thought it was only a movie for little kids and I did not think about the message behind it. But after I watched the movie, it gave out a valuable lesson that really touched my heart and opened my eyes. Others probably thought that Wall-e was a movie that just entertained little kids.

4.In the beginning of the movie I thought it was so sad how they showed how the lifestyle on earth was pretty dead. The earth was full of trash like cans, plastics and all kinds of garbage. Also how they depicted the lifestyle in the spaceship were all people were so busy talking on the screen, drinking from their cups and did not even know how to walk. I just had a thought that, that could be us in the future.

5. I guess they made this movie to make the audience realized that there is a moral lesson behind it. That people should take care of their surroundings and save the nature. Also that we should have our own minds and not rely on computers, especially in this age where the technology is at its peak.

6. All movies has something to say about God, and Wall-e gave out the idea that even though the life on earth seemed to be so depressing, there is always hope that everything will be better in time according to God's plan.
