SALSU :]

Paint wars!

This salsu was one of my favorite ones because i LOVE capture the flag! And with paint-filled water balloons?? Come on! It was short lived though because they weren't expecting so many people. The whole event lasted about 5 minutes maybe? hahah but It was fun to splash my friends with water bottles, the old paint water, and sucker them with balloons to the face! It was great!

    Laser Tag
On October 15 I attended the Laser Tag event SALSU put on for the students of La Sierra University on the founders green. I had just gotten back from a flag football game and was pretty worn out, but when i glanced at the founders green while passing the eagles nest to get back to towers at about nine o clock I noticed these humungous blow up objects (somewhat like a bounce house type of a thing). All energy lost while pulling flags was replenished just by seeing the obstacles set up for our laser war. After I quickly ran up to change I came back down, payed the three dollar fee, and proceeded to get my face painted half blue and half yellow..........like a true laser tag warrior. There were so many teams our red team had to wait out the first ten minute game. When I finally got in there I was so psyched to roll and crawl on the floor, hiding behind the blow up bunkers, but I was a little saddened to discover my gun had no laser to aim with which made me pretty useless to our team. Our team was demolished and had to sit out and wait again. While waiting for the next game I got laser happy (probably because I didn’t have one the first game) and was pointing my laser at peoples gluteus maximus while they weren’t paying attention. My action came back to haunt me because right when I got into my second game my laser stopped working, causing yet another loss I could mark for our red team. Those were the only games I played, but other than shooting people with infrared lasers I had fun taking pictures with people on the side of all the action. Without a doubt laser tag was an event I’m glad I didn’t miss.
